v0.3.9 is a single fix. If you had more than one saved connection, switching between them from the start page sidebar didn’t work: clicking another connection did nothing, and double-clicking it could overwrite one saved connection with the settings of another. Thanks to the user who reported it — this release fixes both.

What went wrong

The start page shows your saved connections in the sidebar and the selected connection’s settings in a form next to it. Two things broke that:

  • A single click didn’t select anything. Each row had its own double-click handler. On macOS, a tap gesture attached to a list row takes the click the list needs to change its selection, so the selection never moved.
  • A double-click could overwrite a connection. The form saves your edits when you switch connections. The double-click handler loaded the new connection into the form and connected; only then did the “save on switch” step run, and it saved the form — now holding the other connection’s settings — into the wrong entry. The result was two saved connections with identical settings.

How it works now

Double-click and Return now go through the list’s native primary action instead of a gesture on each row, so ordinary clicks select normally again. The right-click menu (Connect, Duplicate, Delete…) moved to the same place.

The settings form now remembers which connection it was loaded from. Saving, Test Connection and Connect always use that connection, never “whatever is selected right now”, so edits can only be written back to the connection you made them in.

Concretely, v0.3.9 means

  • One click on a saved connection selects it and shows its settings
  • Double-click or Return connects to it
  • Switching, connecting, creating or duplicating a connection never overwrites another saved connection
  • Unsaved edits are saved to the connection they were made in when you switch away

If a double-click left you with duplicated entries in an earlier version, you can edit the copy back to its real settings. Grab v0.3.9 from the latest release or build from source with Xcode.
